Well, it’s almost the end of January and the ketch is still aground.  I’ve sailed to see it at least four times now.  At times, it seems like we sail to the fallen vessel to pay respect.  But I know it’s only to quench our own curiosity.  Is it still there?  Is it abandoned yet?  Is it sunk?  How’s that guy going to get that thing out of there?  Mike says that nothing short of a tug boat or crane will be needed to free it from the mud.  There’s been a lot of attemps by an assortment of power boats but it’s still there. I’ll try to follow up on this - but who knows? It may be gone one day.
